While I'm at the Forum, what will I have to wear?

You'll be required to have your lanyard and your PTP vest on at all times. Jeans, graphic tees, sportswear, sneakers, etc. are discouraged during the daytime. They could be worn during the evening social hours. Remember to pack rain jackets or umbrellas in case it rains.

I take medication on a regular basis, what do I do?

You will be responsible to take your medication when you need to. Inform your delegation leader as well that you are taking medication. If you need to have a needle or syringe on you at all times, have the appropriate notes necessary from your doctor or pharmacy.

Will it be a problem if I take a bag with me at all times?

Many places you'll visit will have security checkpoints. To eliminate delays, you may be asked to leave bags/backpacks on the bus.

Is it okay if  I bring a cell phone, digital camera, or some other electronic device with me?

You may bring digital cameras. You may bring your cell phone as long as you turn it OFF during the daylight hours and delegation meetings. However, some places that you will visit will not allow any electronic devices inside the building. Your delegation leader will inform you of these places ahead of time.

I accidentally closed my room door and left my key in my room, now what do I do?

To prevent this from happening, have your room key with you at all times. If it does happen, inform your delegation leader so he or she can assist. Remember to always let your delegation leader know of any problems.

Can I go up to my room or go to the bathroom in the middle of a meal or a program?

Sure, just as long as you tell your delegation leader where you're going and that you go with a buddy. Remember to always travel with a buddy!

What time do I have to go to bed?

You must be in your room by 10:00pm and have lights out by 10:30pm. Delegation Leaders will check the halls throughout the night. Girls are assigned different floors than the boys.

Family visitation is discouraged. (If you however, NEED your family to visit, you must inform your delegation leader first.)

Will I be able to choose my roommates? Will I be able to change roommates?

Two to three roommates of the same age and gender are assigned randomly per room. Changes to roommate assignments are not allowed except under extreme circumstances.

The furniture in my room is damaged. What do I do?

Tell your delegation leader at once about any damages or you may be held responsible. Also, don't move the furniture in your room.

I ran out of towels and I need more soap what should I do?

If you ever need any more supplies, contact the front desk. They will happily assist you.

I want to bring jewelry, but I'm afraid they'll be stolen by someone. What should I do?

Rule of thumb is, anything you can't bear to lose should be left at home.

Will I be able to use any of the hotel services?

You will not be allowed to use any hotel services such as renting movies or video games. You will be allowed to use the room phone, but calling other rooms is discouraged.  Laundry services/machines are usually provided by the hotel for a fee.

Is it okay if I bring a phone card? How about traveler's checks?

You can use the hotel lobby pay phones or your room phones for your phone cards. The front desk will be happy to cash traveler's checks for you.

You will be allowed to shop, but keep in mind that you will usually be on a tight schedule so make the best of your shopping time by having a list and knowing what you would like to get beforehand.
