The People to People World Leadership Forum in Washington DC is a
program that gives middle school students across the country the opportunity
to learn about our nation's history, take a first hand look at how
the United States government works, and discover the meaning and
importance behind our nation's historical monuments and memorials.
|
|
Everyday during the Forum, after dinner, there are nightly leadership meetings
where delegation members meet as a team and work together and discuss
what everyone has experienced and
learned for the day. |
 |
 |
By being ready and participating, students become
more confident in their leadership and speaking skills, learn to
work effectively as a team, and also as important, make new
friends from around the country that could last a lifetime. |
